One of the most difficult things to do is to give monetary gifts when you are also in need. It is hard to donate money, give offering or pay tithes when you can barely pay your own bills.
I mean, how can you help someone to stand when you can barely find your own footing? Yep. I know #this is hard to do :)
#But, that's exactly what God wants us to do. God wants us to give especially when we have little. In fact, God told us to #test him on this - in Malachi 3:10, "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! #Try it! #Put me to the #test!"
And God followed this request with a #promise of what will happen if we #test him. He said in Malachi 3:11, "Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies"
Do you remember the poor woman in Luke 21 who gave her last coin? Yes - Jesus greatly appreciated her very much because, she was a woman who was desperately in #need of receiving charity herself and yet there she was with a golden heart of #giving. We must learn from her. My friends, no matter your situation, I promise you that there's someone out there who would love to be where you are.
Yes - there's someone less fortunate than you. #Give to those in need, #pay tithes, pay offerings, and do it all with love from the little you have. Now wait and see God's promises flow like a river in every aspect of your life. May God continue to bless you and your families!

Even after being careful to follow all the commands, decrees, and regulations
that God has commanded to us in His #word, we are still bound to sin. If you are human, sin is inevitable. Psalm 51 should be our daily food. We are bound to slip here and there no matter how holy we strive to live and we might not even realize some of our sins. David called them "innermost sins". That is why King David asked this question in prayer; "Who perceives his unintentional sins?"
And then he #continued to pray for God to cleanse him from #all his #hidden faults. Even though David knew God loved him, he also knew this kind of sincere prayer was very necessary. I want you to join me today as we pray the same prayer David prayed in Psalm 19:12-13, "How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. Keep your servant from deliberate sins! Don’t let them control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin"
We pray this in Jesus' Name. Amen!
If you prayed this prayer with me, May God answer your prayers. May God give you grace to always live his word. May God continue to bless you and your families!

When you set out to do something for God, you will encounter many obstacles. You will experience many  hindrances in your quest to accomplish something great. People will try to stop you, lack of resources will discourage your mission, you will experience many ups and downs along the way. Keep in mind that nothing good comes easily. You must not allow Satan and his cohorts to prevent you from achieving God's purpose. Apostle Paul wrote,
"I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us."
 - Philippians 3:14

Because Paul used to murder Christians, people gave him a difficult time when God first called him into ministry - because they weren't used to this new Paul. But Paul didn't quit the ministry God had entrusted to him. He worked even harder for God. When Paul had a disagreement with Barnabas, he didn't quit - he continued working. My point is; when things got "complicated", Paul persevered.
No matter how "complicated", difficult or discouraging things get - whether at work, church, home, or simply in life, you must also persevere. Don't backslide just because someone refuses to accept the new you. Don't quit that thing just because it is too hard, and please, don't ever walk away from any opportunity God gives you - just because someone disapproves. You should only seek God's approval anyway :)
You will miss out on the actual prize if you quit life too early. May God continue to bless you and your families!

One might ask: "What is prayer?"
Well, I'm glad you asked :)
PRAYER is having a conversation with God as one would have with a best friend. Prayer must be a priority and a necessity for every Christian. Without prayer, a Christian would lose his/her way. It's a way to draw near to our God, to appreciate Him and to seek his favor.
HOW you pray and WHAT you pray about are equally important. Bible states that the Pharisees were sure to pray often and they also prayed long - but God never heard nor answered them - because their prayers were never right. Your prayers should not always be loaded with requests like; "Lord, I want a job. I want a house. I want a car. I want...
Bible tells us to make our request known to God through prayer and supplication - so there's nothing wrong with the "I wants".
But your prayer must be loaded with thanksgiving, gratitude, worship, praises, request for forgiveness of sins, and intercession for others. Don't forget that PRAYER breaks the gates of hell. Prayer tears down the stronghold of Satan over your life.
Prayer makes you untouchable to Satan and his cohorts. Prayer constantly gives you victory over the enemy. Prayer moves God to tackle Spiritual and physical issues that you didn't even know existed. That is why 1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to, "Never stop praying"
So, my friends, talk to God about EVERYTHING and everyone in your life. May God continue to bless you and your families!
