Read the story of Ruth starting from Ruth chapter 1.
And you will find that:
Ruth is a story of venturing out with absolutely nothing. A young woman who lost her husband, lost her possessions but she never gave up. Paul wrote in 2nd Corinthians; “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on Me.”

Ruth is a story of love. Love for her husband, love for her Mother-in-law and love for a man God would timely place in her life. Boaz was a Godly man who would provide for her, provide for their son and provide for their nation pointing directly to Jesus Christ.

Ruth is a story of a woman living the example that Paul wrote in his letter to the Philippians; “I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me.”
Ruth is a story that reminds us that God can powerfully use each of us in spite of our past, our background or our conduct to accomplish His ultimate will.

Ruth was an extraordinary woman of God, even though she didn’t start out that way. She was a sinner just like you and I, yet God used her in a profound way – just as He uses us today. She was a widow and a foreigner who left her country for a strange land. Tragedy reduced her to poverty almost overnight. Yet she never gave up. She stood by her mother -in law -Naomi. She trusted completely in God and God rewarded her greatly.

God can powerfully use you also. Just hold on to Him and never let go!

Dear Daddy, Sometimes I pray and at the same time try to figure out how to remedy the situation on my own.
But I know for a fact that when I place a troubling situation in Your hands and take my hands off, You answer the prayer in a much better way than I could have ever imagined. Today, I cast this one thing I need so badly into your mighty hands.
Thank you for answering my prayers exceedingly abundantly more than I could ever ask or think. Thank you for being FAITHFUL even when I don't deserve it. Thank you for your unfailing love for me.

In Jesus’ Name I Pray,

In Luke 16:19-31, Jesus told a story to His disciples; "Jesus said There was a certain rich man who was splendidly clothed in purple and fine linen and who lived each day in luxury. At his gate lay a poor man named Lazarus who was covered with sores. As Lazarus lay there longing for scraps from the rich man’s table, the dogs would come and lick his open sores. Finally, the poor man died and was carried by the angels to be with Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried, and his soul went to the place of the dead. There, in torment, he saw Abraham in the far distance with Lazarus at his side. The rich man shouted, ‘Father Abraham, have some pity! Send Lazarus over here to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. I am in anguish in these flames. But Abraham said to him, ‘Son, remember that during your lifetime you had everything you wanted, and Lazarus had nothing. So now he is here being comforted, and you are in anguish. And besides, there is a great chasm separating us. No one can cross over to you from here, and no one can cross over to us from there. Then the rich man said, ‘Please, Father Abraham, at least send him to my father’s home. For I have five brothers, and I want him to warn them so they don’t end up in this place of torment. But Abraham said, ‘Moses and the prophets have warned them. Your brothers can read what they wrote. The rich man replied, ‘No, Father Abraham! But if someone is sent to them from the dead, then they will repent of their sins and turn to God. But Abraham said, ‘If they won’t listen to Moses and the prophets, they won’t be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead."

Hell sounds scary, doesn't it?..
Tempers got high and two friends got into a heated argument. At the end of the argument, One of them said to the other "go to hell".
The other one answered "I am already there"..
I don't believe this person truly understand what "hell" is".
Most people have assumed that hell doesn't exist. They think once they die, that's it. But I strongly suggest you read Luke 16, read the whole chapter if you can. Bible says "The rich man SHOUTED, ‘Father Abraham, HAVE SOME PITY! SEND LAZARUS OVER HERE TO DIP THE TIP OF HIS FINGER IN WATER AND COOL MY TONGUE. I AM IN ANGUISH IN THESE FLAMES".
The rich man was in anguish and needed relief. But it was too late.

My friends, being born and raised in a Christian family, being present at church every Sunday, actively "serving" in church, being in church leadership, and donating large amounts of money in church will not buy you a pass to Heaven. The rich man didn't repent when he had the chance. It was too late the minute he died. Look deeply into your heart. If you are certain that you have repented, then bravo!. I am happy for you. But if you know for sure that you haven't yet repented, if you just appear righteous and Holy in public, please remember that God knows our hearts. Remember Luke 16:15 says, "what this world honors is detestable in the sight of God". My friends, NOW IS THE TIME TO REPENT. For none of us is guaranteed the next minute of life. I pray you will not end up like the rich man Jesus talked about. Remember, once we die, it is too late to make that crucial decision. #NOWisTheTime

As children of the Most High God, because our father loves us, Bible says God has good plans for us. God has made us heirs of His Mighty kingdom. So, our father REQUIRES you and I to ALWAYS do what is right in HIS sight - not just in the sight of people, we are to Love one another - especially, the ones that hates us, we are to show mercy in our dealings with one another, and we are to WALK HUMBLY with HIM ALONE...(Micah 6:8)
If we do everything God REQUIRES of us, He will always love FAVORABLY on you and I.
Bible tells us in that Genesis 6:8;
"But Noah found FAVOR WITH THE LORD".
In Exodus 3:21;
"And I will cause the Egyptians to look FAVORABLY on you".

In Daniel 1:9;
"Now God had caused the official to show FAVOR and compassion to Daniel".
In Luke 1:30;
"But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid,
Mary; you have found FAVOR WITH GOD".

In Genesis 39:21;
"the LORD WAS WITH HIM; AND GRANTED him FAVOR in the eyes of the prison warden".
In 1 Samuel 2:26;
"And the boy Samuel continued to grow
in stature and in FAVOR WITH THE LORD and with people".
In Acts 7:46;
"David enjoyed God’s FAVOR and asked that he might provide a dwelling place for the God of Jacob".

And the list goes on.......
Whatever you may be facing today, It is my prayer that God will look on YOU too -FAVORABLY. The God who granted all those people FAVOR all those years ago, IS STILL with us today. God said in Revelation 1:8; “I AM THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA—THE BEGINNING AND THE END, says the Lord God. I AM THE ONE WHO IS, WHO ALWAYS WAS, AND WHO IS STILL TO COME—THE ALMIGHTY ONE".

May God grant you FAVOR in ALL YOU do!

We can't call ourselves Christians and still be ready to "flow" wherever the wind blows us. We can't be Christians and be "undecided" at the same time. As someone once said "We can't play "peekaboo" with God. Bible says, “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!
You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked"...Revelation 3:15-17


My dear friends, Jesus said “Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me......Matthew 12:30
If I were to ask you this question today, "what is a Christian or what does the word "Christian" mean? Or Are you a Christian?"....
Some of you will say yes I am a Christian, others will say "a Christian is a someone who goes to church regularly", or "a Christian is some who prays a lot, some will even argue that "a Christian is someone who obeys the ten commandments in the Bible". Some will also say "a Christian is someone who gives cheerfully to the needy and helps others. And if you decide to include Webster in the debate, Webster will also define a "Christian" as, a person who believes in the teachings of Jesus Christ".
While all the above definitions are awesome and are characteristics of a Christian, none of them actually defines the Christian. I believe a Christian is a person who has made a PERSONAL decision to have a GENUINE and AUTHENTIC RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ and to LIVE ACCORDING to the WORD.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says "This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!"
That means after that person makes that PERSONAL decision, they must also change their ways, and with the HELP of the Holy Spirit, they will become NEW.
God will NOT compromise. You NEED to make up your mind. Call it whatever you want; a CHOICE or DECISION, doesn't matter. God will NEVER compromise. Decide now, are you a Christian?, Are you WITH GOD or against Him?

So I went for a walk the other day and decided to buy eggs from Kroger. You know how it is - we go to the store with the intention of buying ONE thing and you end up leaving the store with TEN things. Well, I left Kroger with alot more than originally intended - with total disregard of the fact that I didn't drive there I had many shopping bags in both hands. I think it's safe to say that I was indeed struggling with all those heavy bags I immediately began to regret my de...cision to buy more than I had planned. As I crossed the street, a school bus dropped off a few high school kids in front of the subdivision and the kids started walking to their various homes. Suddenly, one of the white girls walked back to me and said "Hi Ma'am, can I help you with the bags? I see you are struggling". I was SHOCKED because people don't do that anymore. People don't help strangers anymore - for many different reasons - especially this generation. I was so MOVED by the girl's desire to help me. I decided to share the story for everyone to know that, there are still good Samaritans out there. God is good.
IMAGINE how BEAUTIFUL this world would be - if we ALL HELP each other and YES, even strangers!
And guess what her name was...GRACE.
Yep. She introduced herself as GRACE. Pure angel! Matthew 5:16 says,
"In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father"

I know these days, helping strangers can actually get you in a lot of trouble. I have heard of stories where people sue or accuse good Samaritans of "wrongdoing", but please don't let that stop you. If you help a stranger "out of the goodness of your heart" and without any evil motives, God WILL protect YOU from ungrateful strangers. ‪#‎HelpSomeOneToday‬.

    When God asked Abraham to sacrifice his ONLY son, whom he loves so much— a son he had to wait forever to get from the same God, Abraham didn't hesitate. In fact, Abraham prepared his son for the sacrifice.
    Genesis 22:6-8 says,
    "So Abraham placed the wood for the burnt offering on Isaac’s shoulders, while he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them walked on together, Isaac turned to Abraham and said, “Father?”
    “Yes, my son?” Abraham replied.
    “We have the f...ire and the wood,” the boy said, “but where is the sheep for the burnt offering?”
    “GOD WILL PROVIDE a sheep for the burnt offering, my son,” Abraham answered. And they both walked on together"

    Abraham was actually going to kill his son because God said so!
    But here's what I love about the story;
    verse 11 says at that moment the angel of the Lord called to Abraham from heaven and told him not to lay a hand on the boy.
    And God PROVIDED a ram for the sacrifice - just as Abraham TRUSTED HIM to do.
    God didn't want the boy killed, God was only testing Abraham's faith in Him. As we all know, Abraham PASSED the test with flying colors.
    I don't know what you are facing today, perhaps God is testing YOUR faith. Hold on in faith long enough to pass the test.
    For after passing the test, unimaginable miracles happens. ‪#‎lookForwardToThem‬.
