The book of Genesis tells us how Jacob and his mother Rebekah plotted and deceived Isaac into getting Esau's blessings. It went on to say that Esau held a grudge against Jacob for stealing the blessings that were meant for him. Esau planned on killing Jacob after their father Isaac's death. So Jacob fled to his uncle Laban's house in Haran. For many years, Jacob was afraid to return home because of Esau.
But you see, God had a different plan for Jacob. God was in control - e...ven then! Genesis 31:3 says "Then the Lord said to Jacob, RETURN to the land of your father and grandfather and to your relatives there, and I WILL BE WITH YOU.”
God knew returning home was the last thing Jacob wanted to do due to fear. But God also knew His plan for Jacob's life was back in Canaan. So he sent Jacob back home to Canaan. But God didn't send him into danger, God went ahead of him to soften Esau's heart before Jacob got there. God granted Jacob favor with Esau. So Esau received him back peacefully. What is your greatest fear? What or Who are you avoiding? What or who are you running away from?
Whatever it is, KNOW that God's plan ALWAYS trumps our greatest fears. Jacob obviously wasn't perfect. But he served God faithfully.
So, serve God faithfully, listen to his voice and OBEY his instructions - even if those instructions leads you straight into your greatest fear. Remember, IF He sends you there, He WILL be with you!
May God continue to bless you and your families!

Don't get relaxed because you are "okay" with where you are at the moment. Don't get relaxed because life is good for you. Don't get lazy because you have been healed of that sickness. Don't get "comfortable" because God has finally blessed you with the spouse you wanted. Don't back off from worshipping God because you now have peace in your marriage. Don't shy away from God because he has finally given you that job you've been asking for. Don't think Satan has disappeared fo...rever because God has interceded for you. Don't think you are now "free of the devil" and waver in your walk with God. You SHOULD be PRAYING even more now than you used to. Remember, we are not fighting against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness. So you can NOT give up!
As I always say, Satan does not give up. So neither should you. When Satan gets struck down twice, he strikes back four times, so you should keep striking him with consistent prayers and worship.
NOW is the time to PRAY. Apostle Paul says that we are to PRAY without ceasing. Matthew 26:41 says, "Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!”
My friends, Satan NEVER gives up and neither should we. May God continue to bless you and your families!

When God prophesied to Abraham that his wife Sarah will have a baby, Sarah overhead the conversation and laughed to herself - thinking "how can an old woman like me get pregnant?" Because Sarah knew she had past childbearing age. And when God asked why she thought that was funny, she immediately lied - out of fear. When God originally gave Abraham that same prophesy, Bible says in Genesis 17:17 that "Abraham bowed down to the ground, but he laughed to himself in disbelief. “...How could I become a father at the age of 100?” he thought. “And how can Sarah have a baby when she is ninety years old?”
If God had looked at their faith alone, he wouldn't have given them a child. But even though they both didn't believe God right away, God still kept his word and blessed them with Isaac. Because God is gracious and faithful.
We serve a gracious covenant keeping God.
You see, God blesses us not because we deserve it and not because we are entitled to it, but BECAUSE of His GRACE. God promised to make Abraham the father of many nations through Sarah and even though they didn't deserve it, he kept his promise.
As you begin your day, May the GRACE and favor of God be with you in everything you do. May God continue to bless you and your families!

Bible says we are to do our best to live in peace with everyone. God knows in order for peace to continously reign, it sometimes requires a two-way street. There are people who depends on creating "war in other people's lives" in order for them to be happy - making it difficult to live in peace with them. That's why Bible carefully used these two KEY sentences: "IF it is possible" and "As far as it DEPENDS on YOU" (Romans 12:18)
"Peace" begins with Fogiveness. We all know fo...rgiveness is almost an impossible stand to take depending on the offense. But we must also understand that "unforgiveness" is like drinking poison and expecting the other person who offended you will die. We must let go of anger and vengeance if we want to see God's blessings. When you hold onto anger long enough it destroys you. Anger and unforgiveness Blocks your blessings and hinders your relationship with God. It doesn't matter what someone did to you. It doesn't matter how badly they hurt you. You must forgive that person: Not for them - but for you. I'm not saying forgiveness is easy. On the contrary: it's extremely difficult. But it's mandatory for a Christian. I urge you to go on your knees and ask God for Strength, grace and a forgiving Spirit.
Matthew 6:14-15 says "For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."

#Forgive even if they are not remorseful.
#Forgive even if they don't apologize.
#Forgive even if they continue to do it.
#Forgive - But LEARN from that experience so that you will not find yourself in that same predicament ever again in the future.
#Forgive and in some cases, love them from far. Don't hold grudges and don't wish them evil. Pray for them. Let God handle them. Life is too short to waste it on anger and misery. Serve God wholeheartedly, love everyone and have fun! May God continue to bless you.

"I am where I am because of something you said to me many years ago" or "you probably don't remember - but years ago, you said something to me that totally changed my life" Has someone ever made any of the above statements to you regarding something you may have said to them in the past? Or has someone ever said something damaging to you that STILL disturbs you - just thinking about it years later?
Yep. For some of us, this could be great news because once upon a time we said... something good and encouraging to another person. We made a positive difference in someone's life.
For others, this could be bad because once upon a time, we made a bad and discouraging statement to someone and impacted their lives negatively. We must be very mindful of the things we say to others because while you might "say it" and move on, your words usually sticks with that person for a lifetime.
James 3:5 says, "The tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire"

Now, I'm all for "speaking your mind" because it's a good thing and it's also healthy for relationships. So I do encourage you to be forthcoming and honest. All I am asking is that you choose your words CAREFULLY. Let your words be more ENCOURAGING instead of DISCOURAGING, because as Christians we must be considerate of others. Our goal should be to always BUILD up and not tear down. Even God knows and it's in James 3:8 that "No one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison"
But God expects us to try. So let's do our best!
May God continue to bless you and your families.

Today, we must reflect on our lives and see how far God has brought us. Let's also remember just how MERCIFUL God has been to us by not holding our numerous sins against us. Every day, week, month and year, He blesses us with, is a grand opportunity for us to start fresh by learning from our mistakes. I know God has been GRACIOUS and FAITHFUL to all of us. Even if some of us are not where we want to be - YET, we are not where we USED to be.
Today, God is telling us exactly ...what He said to Zerubbabel in Zechariah 4:6, "It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit".
Let's continue this blessed week with the most awesome, intimate and powerful WORSHIP.
"Oh, MAGNIFY the Lord with me, And let us EXALT His name TOGETHER. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears"....Psalm 34:3-4
"Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who FORGIVES all your iniquities, Who HEALS all your diseases, Who REDEEMS your life from destruction, Who CROWNS YOU with lovingkindness and TENDER MERCIES"!
Make this a week of WORSHIP to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When problems crawls up this week, tell that problem what the Lord told you in the beginning of this week, "It is NOT by force nor by strength, BUT BY MY SPIRIT".
Turn every worry that comes up into awesome and genuine WORSHIP to GOD.
May God continue to bless you and ORDER YOUR STEPS always!!
    Amen!

Grace and Rita are good friends and are both married with kids. Grace is constantly posting new pictures of herself, her spouse and her family on Facebook. Grace and her family seem really happy and financially sound on Facebook. Grace and her spouse seems very happy on Facebook and that drives Rita crazy with Jealousy. Rita sees everything Grace posts on Facebook and she has become very envious and jealous of her friend. So Rita began pressuring her hubby to be more like Gra...ce's spouse and provide all those flashy things she sees on Facebook for their family. The pressure became too much for Rita's hubby and when he could no longer compete, he packed up and left the marriage. Later in a conversation with Grace, Rita discovered that indeed "not everything is as it appears" because it turns out that Grace's life wasn't perfect, her husband has another woman on the side and he's physically abusive. So that's why he buys her all those things in an attempt to "make up" for his shortcomings. Rita felt really stupid for driving her very sweet and perfect husband away.
Hebrews 13:5-6 says; "Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said,
I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”
    1 Timothy 6:7-8 also states;
"After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content"

My Friends, we must be content with whatever God has blessed us with. We must never compete with others because God has blessed everyone differently. We must LIVE OUR lives and "stay in our own lanes". Jealousy and enviousness are very dangerous diseases and we must not allow them to consume us. Jealousy and enviousness can destroy us and cause us to miss out on God's great blessings.
May God continue to bless you and your families!

As a great person once said; "A lie is an abomination to the Lord - but a very present help in times of trouble - temporarily".
    TEMPORARILY indeed!
I think we all agree that lying is a very bad and dangerous thing and can be very costly. Have you ever told one "small white lie" and found that lie growing rapidly on you later?
Yep. When we lie, we find ourselves in a situation where we have to keep telling one lie after another in order to cover up the initial lie and ...that obviously makes it hard for the lie to end. Dishonesty and lies makes it hard for others to trust us, hinders our success and credibility. Leviticus 19:11 says : "You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another".
Lies, deceit and dishonesty tears down great relationships and leads to unnecessary confusion and warfare among Christians. Apostle Paul said in Ephesians 4:25; "Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body".
Yes - lies might save you for a moment, but it can cause you to lose a great opportunity, a lifetime chance at success and bring shame and disgrace upon you.
Ask God to grant you the Spirit of truth, honesty and integrity in all your endeavors.
May God bless you and your families.

Prophet Ezekiel saw the glory of God.
He saw the Lord and a fresh “Breath of Heaven” rushed over his soul tremendously. Ezekiel understood that God had a specific purpose and call on his life.
    Ezekiel 37:1-10:
"The Lord took hold of me, and I was carried away by the Spirit of the Lord to a valley filled with bones. He led me all around among the bones that covered the valley floor. They were scattered everywhere across the ground and were completely dried out. Then he asked... me, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?” “O Sovereign Lord,” I replied, “you alone know the answer to that.”
Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord." So I spoke this message, just as he told me. Suddenly as I spoke, there was a rattling noise all across the valley. The bones of each body came together and attached themselves as complete skeletons. Then as I watched, muscles and flesh formed over the bones. Then skin formed to cover their bodies, but they still had no breath in them. Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to the winds, son of man. Speak a prophetic message and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, O breath, from the four winds! Breathe into these dead bodies so they may live again.’”
So I spoke the message as he commanded me, and breath came into their bodies. They all came to life and stood up on their feet—a great army."..

Today, God is asking YOU "Son of man, can these dry bones in your life, the dry bones of your circumstances, the dry bones of your challenges, the dry bones of your health, the dry bones of your hope...... Can they live again?"...
My dear friend, Your answer to these questions are very critical - Your response MUST be full of faith - like Ezekiel – "O Sovereign Lord, you ALONE know the answer to that."...
We must believe that though we cannot see and even though things may look dead - Yahweh can still breath the breath of life back into our dead dry bones! May it be unto you as you say AMEN in FAITH!
May God continue to bless youand your families!

A family member once said to me "Naomi, this God thing has become too much". I couldn't believe she uttered those words because God has blessed her with so much! :)
Don't ever quit on God because your spouse, your partner, your family or your friends don't agree with your faith. Pray for them because God can change their thinking and be sure to live the wisdom of God's word so that they will see the light of God shinning in you. Don't quit on God because a spiritual leader fa...ils or disappoints you. You cannot and should not depend on any human being for your spiritual growth. You can ONLY depend on God.
Luke 17:34-35 says, "That night two people will be asleep in one bed; one will be taken, the other left. Two women will be grinding flour together at the mill; one will be taken, the other left"
So you see, when Jesus Christ returns, as a good friend of mine puts it "everyone for himself - God for us all" :)
When the D-day comes, you are on your own. Even your spouse or twin will not come with you. Everyone will be held accountable - individually. So keep your eyes on God ONLY.
Maybe you thought if you repent and serve God wholeheartedly, life would be a smooth journey and instead, life has gotten ever harder and now you feel like quitting. Don't quit on God because things aren't what you thought they'd be - remember, His ways are not your way. Continue to make God an integral part of your life, continue to serve God faithfully - in truth and in Spirit and trust me - God will never fail you!
May God continue to bless you and your families!

There was a train crash in the news the other day and two engineers were interviewed separately by two different journalists.
One of the journalists asked the white engineer what happened and whether he was able to help any of the passengers on the train before saving himself. The white engineer narrated how he risked his life to save a lady who almost got caught up in the explosion on the train.
    The other journalist asked the black engineer the same question and his answer... was;
"I saw a man trapped under a metal and I would have helped him, but you know I had to ran the safety :) It was too risky :)
He ran because he saw the risk involved in saving the passenger's life. Most of us are like the black engineer :) We are afraid of taking risks. We would rather stay in our comfort zone. But "comfort zones" are also the first cause of failure and downfall.
In Esther 4:6-17, when Esther was afraid to go and plead with the King on behalf of her people - the Jews, Mordecai reminded her that even though God had made her queen, if she doesn't risk her life to save her people, God would still accomplish His purpose WITHOUT her and she could lose everything including her own life. In the end, Esther mustered courage and did the right thing. So God gave them success.
To be successful in life, you must overcome your fears, overcome whatever holds you back from moving forward and you must be willing to take risks. That risk you are restraining from, may be that ONE opportunity you need to be successful. Someone once said "There's no such thing as zero risk in success". Don't miss out on your destiny by being afraid to take action at the right time. Yes - God WILL BLESS YOU, but you must be WILLING to act when and where He directs. Remember, FEAR has never helped anyone succeed. May God continue to bless you and your families.
